LYMPH DRAINAGE
The lymphatic system (aka the sewer system) is an important component of your immune system and plays a vital role in the body by regulating the immune system, which protects your body against infection. It transports nutrients to cells and eliminates metabolic wastes, toxins and excess fluids from your body. The mayor functions of this system include the absorption of excess fluids and its return to the blood stream, cleansing of lymph, maintaining fluid balance, fat absorption and create immunological defense. When it functions normal you will not get ill because you have optimum immune defense.
The Lymphatic System is a complex network of lymphoid organs, lymph nodes, lymph ducts, lymphatic tissues, lymph capillaries and lymph vessels that produce and transport lymph fluid from tissues to the circulatory system. When your Lymphatic System is blocked or clogged, this creates a condition of stagnation which promotes fatigue and ill health. Some of the common symptoms include lumps, pain and swelling.
Your body has two fluid systems; the cardiovascular system (circulatory) with your heart as a pump and the lymphatic system. The cardiovascular system pumps your blood via the heart into the arteries, arterioles, capillaries etc. and returns it to the heart again. Unlike the blood circulatory system, the Lymphatic System is an open ended system that has no pump to keep fluid flowing. Some causes of a blocked lymph system are due in part to stress, lack of exercise, improper diet and repressed communication.
HOW IT WORKS
Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a gentle manual treatment technique based on four basic strokes, which were initially developed in the 1930’s by Dr. Emil Vodder, a PhD from Denmark. These basic strokes known as the “stationary circle”, “pump”, rotary” and “scoop” techniques are designed to manipulate lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels with the goal of increasing their activity and promote the flow of lymph. MLD is highly effective at reducing lymph-based disorders, but the process is very labor intensive.
Within the last decade a hi-tech electronic instrument was found to assist and amplify the effects of manual lymph drainage, reducing the time and complexity of the therapy. Within the last decade a hi-tech complexity of

The Lymphstar Pro is the most recent advancement of this instrument. Proven over time as a safe and effective therapeutic tool it is designed for use in many clinical applications. The Lymphstar Pro is a vibrational energy technology. As such it emits “information” to the energy field of the cells via harmonics of sound and frequencies of light. It produces this information by way of something called “noble gas ionization.” There is a long tradition of research into the energetic effects of these noble gases. An optimal mixture of xenon and argon is enclosed in Pyrex glass tube. The gases are excited by electrical current. An energy field, or plasma, then radiates from the tube onto the skin and is conducted through the entire bio-energy system. Proteins are re-polarized causing retained fluid and congested areas to flow. Stagnation is reversed and the lymph system is now free to perform its cleansing functions!
The Lymphstar Pro is applied by placing the transmission head, or heads on the skin. Use of the instrument on the body is followed by lymphatic massage (MLD). Or it may be used apart from the massage as a therapy itself, complimenting other techniques such as acupuncture, reflexology, etc. For personal use, body brushing is recommended.
